Do we trust Google?

After researching Google, I have come to the opinion that they cannot be trusted and need to be avoided at all costs.
This billion dollar company believes that it is the God of the Internet and that they control what is necessary to make a buck. Google's propaganda machine always comes across to the public as the meek and mild mannered search engine, despite Google being surrounded by privacy and security issues. Plus, like some businesses, Google provides their services, but takes no responsibility for them.

This next piece of Google privacy makes me cringe…

Privacy. As a condition to using the Service, you agree to the terms of the Gmail Privacy Policy as it may be updated from time to time. Google understands that privacy is important to you. You do, however, agree that Google may monitor, edit or disclose your personal information, including the content of your emails…as otherwise provided in these Terms of Use and the Gmail Privacy Policy. Personal information collected by Google may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Google Inc. or its agents maintain facilities. By using Gmail, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

The next is Google saying, I will give you full use of our wonderful products and services, but if anything goes wrong, we are not responsible…

Indemnification.
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Google, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any third party claim arising from or in any way related to your use of the Service, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments(sic), litigation costs and attorneys’ fees, of every kind and nature. In such a case, Google will provide you with written notice of such claim, suit or action.

How about this one from Google's Adsense? Everyone who has an Adsense account has agreed to this…

Google may transfer and disclose to third parties personally identifiable information about You for the purpose of approving and enabling Your participation in the Program, including to third parties that reside in jurisdictions with less restrictive data laws than Your own.

It just makes you feel warm and cosy to know that Google are such a great organization! What a joke! How can anyone take them seriously? How can anyone trust them? They read your mail and store it till the end of time and disclose your information to third parties! Doesn't that make you feel good??
